1. Preheat oven to 400*F/200*C. Grease muffin tin.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, sugar together. Add eggs, milk and oil. Stir just to mix.
2. Fold in apples and fill muffin tins. Prepare topping. Melt butter and brown sugar together, stir in milk and icing sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and pecans.
3. Spoon topping over muffins. Bake for about 25 minutes, until firm.
