Baking Powder Biscuits

Baking Powder--heaping tablespoons |

Flour (white or whole wheat) |

Oil |

Egg |
| 0.5 cup |

grated Cheese--cheddar, monteray jack, parmesan |
| 0.25 cup |

chopped Green Onions |

1. Preheat oven to 400 F
2. Mix the flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar together.
3. Blend in the butter with a pastry blender.
4. Mix the egg and oil together in a measuring cup and fill it to 1 cup with milk. Stir well.
5. Mix two mixtures together, at this point, adding the grated cheese and or green onions are optional. Roll out thickly. Cut to size, usually an inch and a half thickness give or take, with a cup or cookie cutter.
6. Bake on greased baking sheet for 10-12 minutes.
