Bella Pizza Sauce

To go with the Bella Pizza Crust

1 tsp 5 ml   olive oil
0.5 cup 125 ml   onions, minced
2 cloves   garlic, minced
2 cups 500 ml   tomato sauce
1 can   tomato paste
1 tsp 5 ml   organo, basil
1 tbsp 15 ml   red wine vinegar
1 tbsp 15 ml   red wine
1 tsp 5 ml   sugar
1. Heat oil in non-stick pan over medium heat. Add onions and garlic. Stir for about 3 minutes or until fragrent.

2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring when thick.

3. Cool and store in an airtight container. Lasts in fridge for about a week, far longer in freezer.
