1 cup 250 ml   Butter
0.5 cup 125 ml   White Sugar
0.5 cup 125 ml   Brown Sugar
0.75 cup 190 ml   Cocoa Powder
3 large   Eggs
1 cup 250 ml   Flour
1.5 tsp 7 ml   Baking Powder
1.5 tsp 7 ml   Vanilla

1. Preheat oven to 350 F and grease a large, deep pan.

2. Mix the Butter, Sugars and cocoa with egg beaters until really smooth.

3. Beat in the eggs to the butter one at a time, then the Vanilla, until the mixture is glossy and smooth.

4. Sift the Flour and baking powder together, then sift into the wet mixture--the batter should be thick

5. Pour into the pan and bake for 30 minutes.
