Butter Tarts
I think they're making a comeback
Ingredients

Brown Sugar |
| 0.5 tsp |

Baking Powder |
| 1.5 tsp |

Vanilla |

250 ml |

Oats |
| 0.5 cup |
125 ml |

Raisins |
| 0.5 cup |
125 ml |
|
Nuts (walnuts, or pecans preferably), chopped. |

1. Mix together the flour and the sugar and cut in the margerine using a pastry blender, until its in small 'pea' sized pieces. Roll the dough out fairly thin, and spread/press the dough into small greased muffin tins or tart tins and bake in a 350 F degree oven for 12 minutes.
2. Beat the eggs until frothy. Stir in the brown sugar, baking powder, vanilla, oatmeal, raisins and nuts.
3. Pour the mixture into the semi-baked tart shells and bake for 20 minutes.
