Classic Apple Crisp

Ever so easy and rewarding

6   large Apples, peeled and sliced
1.5 cup 375 ml   Oatmeal
0.75 cup 190 ml   Flour
0.75 cup 190 ml   Brown Sugar
0.75 cup 190 ml   Butter or margerine
2 tsp 10 ml   Cinnamon
1 tsp 5 ml   Nutmeg

1. Preheat oven to 375* F. Peel and core all apples. Cut into medium sized slices.

2. Stir Oatmeal, Flour, and Brown Sugar together. Cut in soft butter or margerine until it is in small pea sized pieces.

3. Place apple slices in large casserole dish. Sprinkle with Cinnamon, and Nutmeg. Toss to coat evenly.

4. Place dish in oven and bake for 45-55 minutes, until apples are mushy, and topping is brown.
