Cornbread


Ain't nothing wrong with that

Ingredients
0.5 cup 125 ml   Butter, melted
0.75 cup 190 ml   Milk
2 large   Eggs
0.5 cup 125 ml   Sour Cream
1 cup 250 ml   Yellow Cornmeal
1 cup 250 ml   Flour, sifted
0.5 cup 125 ml   Brown Sugar
2 tbsp 30 ml   Baking Powder
1 tsp 5 ml   Salt
0.5 cup 125 ml   Jalapenos and Green Onions, finely diced

Spiced up warmth from South of the Border
 
1. Set oven temperature to 375 F. Melt butter and stir in eggs, milk and sour cream.

2. Pour in the cornmeal and sift in the flour. Stir in the brown sugar, baking powder and salt.

3. Stir to combine the wet and the dry. Finely dice the green onions and jalapenos and stir in as well.

4. Pour into greased muffin tins or loaf pan and bake for 25 minutes.
