Honey Oatbars

Much like the Coffee Conglomorate's...

4 cups 1000 ml   Rolled Oats
0.5 cup 125 ml   Flax seeds
0.3 cup 80 ml   Butter
0.5 cup 125 ml   Honey
0.25 cup 60 ml   Brown Sugar
1 tsp 5 ml   Vanilla
pinch   Salt

1. Melt Butter, Honey, Brown Sugar and Vanilla in a small saucepan over low heat until all melted and smooth. Whirl oats and flax seeds together in a blender or food processor for a couple seconds until slightly cut up. It should be in small small flakes, but not meal. Instead of flax seeds one could also use coconut, or any desirable finely chopped nuts.

2. Once Butter-Honey mixture is melted, add a dash of salt. Mix oats and butter honey mixture together with a spoon until all encorporated--it should be a fairly 'dry' mixture.

3. Press the mixture into a greased 9X13 baking dish and refridgerate for an hour or so.
