Mulled Wine

Deck the Halls

1 bottle 750 ml   Red Wine, a cheap and cheerful bottle
2 tbsp 30 ml   Brown sugar
4   Cinnamon Sticks
  Cloves and Nutmeg
  Lemon or Orange slices

1. Heat the cheap bottle of red in a large pot over low heat. Do not let it boil. If it boils its spoiled.

2. Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon sticks. Add a dash of cloves and Nutmeg to taste. A couple of lemon or orange slices add a nice flavour. The citrus mellows some of the wine's tang.
