Satayed Beef with Chunky Peanut Sauce

Love at first bite

0.25 cup 80 ml   Olive Oil
4   Garlic Cloves
0.5 cup 125 ml   Soy Sauce
1 tsp 5 ml   Grated Ginger
3 cup 750 ml   Steak, cut into strips
1 cup 250 ml   Chunky Peanut butter (unsweetened, unsalted)
1   Large Onion, chopped
3   Garlic Cloves
1 tbsp 15 ml   Grated Ginger
8   Chili Peppers, chopped
1 can   Coconut milk
1 tbsp 15 ml   Brown Sugar
2 tbsp 30 ml   Lemon Juice
1 tsp 5 ml   Cumin
2 tbsp 30 ml   Soy Sauce

1. Mix the olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce and ginger together and marinate the beef for 4-5 hours.

2. Skewer the beef onto soaked bamboo sticks.

3. For the peanut sauce, blend the peanut butter, onion, garlic, ginger, chilies, and coconut milk in a blender until it is a smooth (but not too too smooth) texture.

5. Cook the beef satays on a BBQ or in an oven heated to 400 F until desired, and serve with the peanut dipping sauce.
