Spiced Lamb Chops

1. Preheat oven to approx. 400*F/205*C.
Mix saffron with small amount water until colour dissolves. Combine with spices and salt to make a powdery paste. Coat lamb chops. 2. Heat oil in skillet until hot. Add lamb chops, sauteeing until golden brown on both sides. About 4-5 minutes a side. 3. Transfer chops to roasting pan and place in preheated oven. Roast about 6-7 min. Serve piping hot. A glass of wine and a decent rice pilaf alongside these, makes the ultimate seduction supper. |
