Spinach Dip

Easy Entertaining

1 package 10 oz   Frozen Spinach
0.5 cup 125 ml   Mayonnaise
0.5 cup 125 ml   Light Sour Cream
3   Green Onions
0.5 package   Vegetable Soup Mix (without noodles)
0.5   Red Bell Pepper
0.25 cup 60 ml   Water Chestnuts
  Salt and Pepper
  Tabasco Sauce
1. Thaw spinach, and drain as much moisture out as possible. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and spinach in a medium sized bowl.

2. Dice green onions and red pepper into small small pieces. Drain the water chestnuts, and dice into similarly small pieces. Stir the red pepper, onions and water chestnuts into the spinach-sour cream mixture. Pour half of a vegetable soup mix into the bowl and stir in.

3. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and stir in along with a couple dabs of tabasco sauce. Let refridergate for a half hour or so, to let the flavours merry. Serve with cut vegetables and bread for dipping.
