Steamed Garlic Asparagus


The only way to eat it

Ingredients
1 bunch   Asparagus, ended trimmed off
4 cloves   Garlic
3 tbsp 45 ml   Butter
  Salt and Pepper

 
1. Snap bottom ends off asparagus. Wash the spears to ensure there is no lingering dirt. Mince garlic.

2. In a large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. 3 tablespoons is a rough estimate-some people like more butter, some people like less. Place asparagus in pan and sprinkle garlic and dashes of salt and pepper over top. Cover pan with a lid, and allow to steam in buttery-garlicky goodness for 3-5 minutes, stirring the pan occasionally.

3. This recipe is so easy its almost redundant to write it up; but it is so good, the only way to eat fresh asparagus.
