Vancouver Island Ice Tea




Ingredients
2   Orange Pekoe Tea Bags
0.25 cup 60 ml   Sugar
1   Lemon
1   Orange
1 tsp 5 ml   Vanilla
1 oz   Vodka (per serving)

 
1. Boil a large kettle of water and brew a strong pot of orange pekoe tea. After 5 or 6 minutes, once the tea has had time to steep, pour into a large pitcher, and add the sliced lemon, orange and sugar. Let cool for about 45 minutes.

2. Once the ice tea has cooled, stir in lots of ice cubes and the vanilla. Serve in individual tumblers with a large plonk of vodka in each cup. Clink.
